Jaker’s Night!
Help us have a Jakers Night for our PTA Fundraiser Reward!
Today is the last day for our annual PTA fundraiser! This morning we are at $6,700. Because the PTA would be covering the cost of Mapleton Elementary students to enter Jaker’s for a family night, we need to meet the $8000 goal that has been set. In addition, these funds give us our operating budget which allows us to do programs such as Reflections, Ribbon Week, Teacher Appreciation Week, as well as allowing us to provide dinners to teachers during SEPs. We appreciate the donations that have been made, and hope we can make it that final stretch to our $8,000 goal. Thank you!

Stay Healthy!
We wrapped up the week trying healthy snacks on Friday, to help everyone remember to keep their mind and body healthy!
Red Ribbon Day!
Today was Red Ribbon Day, and the kids signed a pledge to avoid drugs, alcohol and bullying!
Walk to School Day!
Today was “Walk to School Day!” We celebrated by having Cosmo Cougar greet the kids at the front of the school, and offered granola bars. Thanks for doing your best to find active ways to get to school!
9/11 Flag Ceremony
We want to always remember those affected by 9/11. As a tribute to them we held a flag ceremony today. Thank you to the scouts who participated, to Mr. Curtis for singing the national anthem, and to the students and staff who showed patriotism by dressing in Red, White and Blue.
