PTA Fundraiser: Contribute to Kindness
Our fundraiser is going on now!
We are doing a donation drive all week long. The funds raised for a PTA fundraiser go toward PTA-sponsored programs, such as Reflections, Spelling Bee, Ribbon Week, Teacher Appreciation Week and teacher dinners during SEPs. This year we are also hoping to raise enough to donate a portion to the school to cover expenses for the “Contribute to Kindness” program. In conjunction with out donation drive, we are also spending the week helping the kids focus on acts of kindness.
Ask your children about the shamrocks in their classrooms, and if you feel that you can make a donation, we are very grateful to have your support!

Spring Book Fair Hours
The book fair will open during lunch on Tuesday, February 22nd and close after lunch on Friday, February 24th. The book fair will remain open during parent-teacher conferences on Wednesday, February 22nd (until 7:30pm).

TEACHER AND STAFF LOVE WEEK!
Parents we want to show our teachers and staff how much we love and appreciate them. Help us stock the faculty lounge the week of Feb 13th- 17th. If you are able and willing please sign up to bring something and feel free to send it with your child the week of Feb 6-10th, we will be collecting donations at both doors the morning of Feb 10th or you can drop it off in the office anytime during that week. There will also be a venmo donation that will be available if that is easier. Thanks so much for your willingness to help!

Nominees for 2023-2024 Mapleton Elementary PTA Board
The following have been selected by the nominating committee to serve on the Mapleton Elementary PTA Board for the term of the 2023-2024 school year:

Elections will be held at the PTA General Membership meeting on March 14th at 9:30am. Anybody else who would like to be considered for these offices must submit a letter of intent no later than March 9th at 9:30am to Emily Finlinson at [email protected]
PTA General Membership Meeting
Just a reminder that the PTA general membership meeting has been moved to Tuesday, January 17th at 9:30am, across the hall from the front office. We apologize that the calendar has not been updated to reflect this change.
